THE CAUAA – AMA a Non-Profit 501c(3) organization and an affiliate chapter of the Clark Atlanta University Alumni Association referred to as the CAUAA. Primarily comprised of alumni of instrumental and vocal ensembles of Clark College, Clark University, Atlanta University and Clark Atlanta University, the CAUAA – AMA exists to serve as a support group for the university music department, faculty, students, and subsequent ensembles. Committed to supporting Clark Atlanta University and its mission to provide quality education, the CAUAA – AMA works to recruit students to the university and its instrumental and vocal ensembles and to provide scholarships and other auxiliary support to the department of music. Ultimately, the CAUAA – AMA seeks to be active contributors to Clark Atlanta University and ensure the continued growth and development of the institution.

• Engage – To identify alumni from all music ensembles and encourage them to become actively involved in and contributors to CAUAA – AMA activities and programs as well as to the wider CAU family.
• Support – To serve as a support group for the CAU music department and assist with achieving its academic endeavors.
• Fundraise – To raise funds for students of the CAU music department and various ensembles.
• Recruit – To recruit students to CAU and its ensembles.
• Scholarship – To provide scholarships for CAU ensemble members.
• Visibility – To increase alumni visibility on campus and in the community.
• Retain – To continuously identify ways to keep alumni active and engaged in the CAU family.
